Privacy Policy
Effective Date: May 2026
At Bennett Springbot, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy outlines how we collect, use, and manage data when you interact with our AI-driven services via Facebook Messenger, YouTube Live Chat, and our public web presence.
Data Processing & Collection
- Transient Real-Time Processing: Our bot dynamically processes conversational messages across streaming chat and Direct Messages (DMs) specifically to supply fishing advice, interpret park regulations, and provide water safety alerts.
- What We Read: We only read transient incoming stream/message IDs and message contents to generate a contextual, real-time response.
- No Permanent Storage: We do NOT permanently store, warehouse, or archive personal user data, chat histories, or profile information outside of the immediate session required to deliver a response.
- No Monetization: We do not sell, share, or monetize your personal data with third-party advertisers or data brokers.
User Control & Data Deletion
We believe in giving you immediate control over your digital footprint. Because we do not persistently store data, your footprint is naturally minimized. However, we offer an automated wipe protocol:
- The UNSUBSCRIBE Command: At any time, you may type the word
UNSUBSCRIBE in a direct message or chat with Springbot. This command will immediately clear any temporary session data, caching, or active threads associated with your user ID.
- Platform Controls: You also retain all data deletion rights provided natively by Facebook/Meta and YouTube/Google platforms. Deleting a conversation on your end severs the bot's ability to reply to that thread.
Changes & Contact
We may update this privacy policy periodically to reflect changes in our technology or compliance with Meta App Review standards. For any questions regarding this policy or to request manual data deletion, please contact the system administrator via the associated Facebook Page.
